Yeh, it started raining again. We tried to hold out for the sun, but it simply didn't happen. big thanks to the sandwich shop on the corner of St Georges Square. brilliant butties. It seems like its sun in the morning, and rain in the afternoon at the mo. Still, half a day is better than nowt.
There's some cracking folk in HB, they have lots of fun, and are super friendly. We loved these guys glasses!
The peeps of hebden bridge have a giant sun dial in the centre of St Georges square. We gathered that it has not been the most welcome addition to the Bridge, but it looked pretty good to us (although a giant swingball would have been better no?). The locals have interpretted the Sun Dial as many things; a rocket launcher, and giant potato peeler. Fortunately for them, the Good news put their minds to rest on the Rocket Launcher front. Check check.
We set up the gallery in HB this morning, and it was brilliant. the Sun came out, along with lots of very nice and interesting people. Thanks for popping by and grabbing some fine PB art.
Shelly let me doodle on her arm the t'other night. We have a habit of getting the pens out when the shandy's start rolling. Good job it wasn't the permanent pens tho eh?
We met lots of nice locals in Shoulder of Mutton.
Like we said, it bucketed it down in Calderstone park, which made our outdoor mobile art gallery very hard work. So we said goodbye, and had a wander into Liverpool. We visited the Tatey Pool, stuck some Bees Knees around, and had a wander round the city of Culture 2008. More like the city of shopping and construction! Much love goes to the Scousers for their friendliness.
We set up in the picturesque Calderstones Park, on the outskirts of Liverpool. It was a beautiful setting, the grounds are fantastic. Thanks to everyone who popped by before it totally bucketed down. Thanks to Derek Dottie & Stephan Vose for helping the PB tour in Liverpool. N1ce chaps.
We stopped off in Cheshire, home of mega rich footballers enroute to Liverpool. Lovely area. We stopped at elms farm campsite, recommend it, it's all eco'd up. Say hello to Bab's if you're ever there.
We were very kindly invited round to the the hardaker household for some homemade fodder. Best food we've eaten in yonks it was. Much love goes to the H crew (Ruth, Mike, Tim & Grandma Joan (above)). We had a smashing time. Thankyou.
Lots of friends anf family came and got Bee Knee'd up. Twas nice to see lots of familiar faces and new ones ofcourse. We've met some cracking peeps on our adventure. The new friends and faces are the best bit about the PB Tour.

Oscar O was super on Saturday. He stuck bees on knees, kept us all entertained, ran riot in the paddling pool, helped pack our gallery away, and got a much deserved lift to the station in the Pleasure Bus with his Mama Cathy O. Lot's of love to you guys. I think we've found our third PB crew member in Agent double O. x
Ol' blondie locks came to visit the Pleasure Bus on Satursnacks. It was brilliant to meet the man behind the Birds in Shoes. Simon was fantastic to have around. He brought charm, laughs, pens. What else can you ask for eh? Hopefully we'll hook up with Mr Peplow for future shenaigans. Be quick to bag yourself some Peplow Prints, They're Big, and there's only a few left now.
We're giving away these cracking Happy Vouchers on the PB Tour, that allows you to snaffle a free Anorak magazine (the happy magazine for kids). If you see the big gold bus, make sure you pop across and get one. Inspirational stuff for the nippers.
The lovely Ruth Hardaker (Kirst Ma) baked us a cake for the Pleasure Bus Tour. It was brilliant. Our little gold toy bus sank a little in the delicious choco topping (much like when we were in Newquay). Big Bus Love to Mama H. it was lovely for breakfast too!. x
The sweat is over, my house keys have been found in the Pleasure Bus. You can all sleep soundly now. Phew!
Yes Yes, we we're in prime location at the Bristol Art Market. Right next to the big disco ball (part of @ explore). Next time we hit Bristol we'll bring a disco, lights and make the most of this fantastic landmark.
Paul runs the B.A.M (Bristol Art Market) in millenium square. He was total star helping us set up the Pleasure Bus Tour gallery in a cracking location. Mr Witt was a cracking source of arty knowledge and is well informed on the Bristol art scene. It'd be great to hook up with Paul again in Bristol. N1ce Paul.
We love this place. Loads of arty goodness everywhere. Smashing folk too. The Here gallery is based in Stokes Croft, just outside Bristol. It reminds us of Dalston, a bit ghetto, but mostly thriving with good stuff. There's a fantastic arty vibe there, and the gallery is hubbing the action. We could have spent a small fortune in there, but the bus just can't take it. N1ce ben & crew. Hopefully see you over the weekend yeh?
Yes Now, we're in Bristol this weekend, Saturday & Sunday @ the millenium square, near the big silver ball. We're part of the affordable art market open form 10 til 6ish. It's going to be blooming brilliant, we can't wait. We look forward to meeting some cracking Bristolians (we love Bristolians).

I went for a run in Braunton, the home of egg. I think I bit off a bit too much and ended up doing half a marathon. Check the flickr to see my discoveries. Nice bit of cheeky stickering above. Love it.
Yeh, you might think that this is a jolly holiday rather than a serious art gallery, judging from our promotional pics (ie night's on the lash sticking bees to knees), but we are working. It's like going back to Dial up in most of the places we camp. But we'll take that, cos we get to do BBQ's, play footy & doodle in fields. Nicely.
Yes Cliff has been captured by the Pleasure Bus. He tried to resist, but we lured him in with wimbledon strawberries and cream. Wish he'd stop singing "we're all going on a summer holiday" though. he's like a broken record. More "Devil Woman" Cliff. Sort it out Richards.
But now we also have moths. Don't like moth's much. They're like some sort of winged cockroach, indestructable and minging to look at.
Yes me picked up the lovely Jenny on our way to braunton. Apparently Jenny's planning to drive to Sri Lanka in a Morris Minor. good luck to her on that one. Maybe that's the next Pleasure Bus mission? Who knows eh?
We had a mighty fine ploughman's lunch at the Wreckers Retreat. Twere lovely. Bit windy. Then we headed for Braunton, the home of egg.
